Minor Hotels

A part of Minor International (MINT), Minor Hotels is a hospitality investment and management company with a diverse spectrum of hotel chains and brands connects to the needs and desires of today’s global travellers.

When I joined Minor Hotels in 2015, all the hotels and resorts in Vietnam was operating on their own without a common goals and strategy. I spent my first 4 months at Minor Hotels to gradually set up a cluster team for marketing and e-commerce that later on grow into an area commercial team. The team and the structure I had proved to be effective during my 5.5 years, of which was recognised by some achievements and awards at local and international scene.

DIRECT MANAGEMENT

The following properties and projects receives my direct support and directions where my area marketing and e-commerce team oversee all the activities on a daily basis.

Anantara Hoi An Resort (Flagship of Minor Hotels in Vietnam)

- Responsible for the complete rebranding process from Life Resort Hoi An to Anantara Hoi An Resort

- ROI from E-commerce campaigns during my time: 2016 (8:1), 2017 (14:1), 2018 (30:1), 2019 (20:1)

- Met or exceed all my budget and KPI for rooms revenue from direct channels and PR Value

- Launched art space as the first art & dining concept restaurant in Hoi An and Vietnam.

- Re-launched Riverside Cafe into Hoi An Riverside Restaurant, a fine dining restaurant featuring authentic Vietnamese cuisines sought from all over Vietnam while carrying out a series of special dining programmes, i.e. guests chef, luxury street food offerings, “Nhậu @ your door step”

- Responsible for the complete rebranding process from Life Wellness Resort Quy Nhon to Avani Quy Nhon Resort.

Anantara Mui Ne Resort (under direct management until 2018)

- Anantara Mui Ne Resort was under my management until 2018 when it was sold to Novaland and the owner decided to have their own commercial team based at the property. I still continued to provide support in terms of direction and training for their team so they can achieve their commercial goals.

Avani Hai Phong Harbour View

- Amongst the properties under my supervision, Avani Hai Phong Harbour View was the most challenging property due to its nature of a business hotel. There was little room for leisure segment. Nonetheless, we focuses heavily on the F&B offers with implementation of delivery services to cater to guests at industrial zones and high-end residential area. Such has resulted in average increase of 18% on revenue YoY.

Anantara Quy Nhon Villas

- Responsible for the pre-opening and opening of the resort.
